Aktivitas Antibakteri dan Antioksidan Ekstrak Daun Archidendron jiringa Hasil Ekstraksi Berting

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menentukan aktivitas antioksidan dan antibakteri ekstrak daun A. jiringa. Daun A. jiringa diekstraksi menggunakan pelarut metanol, etil asetat dan n-heksana dengan teknik ekstraksi bertingkat. Hasil ekstraksi yang diperoleh diuji fitokimia, kandungan total fenol, aktivitas antioksidan dengan metode DPPH dan aktivitas antibakteri dengan metode difusi agar. Hasil uji fitokimia menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun A. jiringa mengandung senyawa fenol, flavonoid, tanin dan alkaloid. Uji total fenol menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak daun A. jiringa fraksi metanol memiliki kandungan total fenol tertinggi (19,531 ± 0,001 mg GAE/g) diikuti fraksi etil asetat (4,842 ± 0,003 mg GAE/g) dan n-heksana (0,312 ± 0,001 mg GAE/g). Ekstrak daun A. jiringan fraksi metanol menunjukkan aktivitas antioksidan sangat kuat, fraksi etil asetat sedang dan n-heksana sangat lemah. Pengujian aktivitas antibakteri menunjukkan bahwa fraksi metanol memiliki diameter zona inhibisi terbesar (E. coli: 7.17 ± 1.83 mm, B. subtilis: 9.31 ± 1.50 mm) diikuti dengan etil asetat (E. coli: 4.50 ± 1.29 mm, B. subtilis: 4.75 ± 0.96 mm) dan untuk n-heksana tidak menunjukkan zona hambat.
